Reflection

This Year was a very tuff year for me being as though imp a freshmen and this my first year in high school. At the beginning of the year I really didn’t care, I was talking, playing around and I didn’t take 9th grade serious; Probably because im coming out of a public middle school and I used to play around in there. Now that I know how serious high school and 9th grade is my whole attitude changed towards school. My grades weren’t that good in the 1st and 2nd quarter which made my family upset but the 3rd quarter I figured if I stay focus and stop paying around then I would have more privileges such as going outside, staying out late, and having my phone. Everybody kept saying you not going to get anywhere if you don’t take school serious which I know now is a fact when I did some resource online and it said they you have to have good grades and a good grade point average to attend college which I do want to attend. Another thing is I don’t want to be 18 still in 10th grade I would father go forward with my other class mates and graduate 2015.Sometimes its the people that surround me that messes me up but then again I cant blame them I can only blame my self because I make my own decisions and I choose to hang out with the people I hang out with. When I was in middle school everyday I would just go straight out side with my friends but now im in high school I go in the house first and complete some homework and if not that study and then ill go outside. I Take school more serious then before because I realize that school is my future school gets me to the right places I need to go education is number one without education you wouldn’t know anything and when you get older and have kids its going to be hard for you to help them cause you didn’t get the education to help yourself.

Baby Stuck In Washing Machine

    Many people have been talking about the man that put a baby in a washing machine. In a Recent article http://thestir.cafemom.com/baby/138060/mom_of_baby_stuck_in at first they thought that it was the little boy father that put him in the washing machine and the mother was just watching. Comes to find out it wasn’t the mother nor father didn’t know nothing about it until it was on the news, and when they watched the video they didn’t believe that it was they child at first until they notice it was the baby sitter standing next to the washer. However it was just an accident they but the little boy in their just for fun and when they closed it the washer automatically started. When the mother confronted the baby sitter she at first denied it but when the police showed up at the house the next morning the baby sitter said, "That was indeed your baby in the washing machine" which they stated in the article. The little boy mother didn’t even know the man that put her baby in the washing machine and she don’t know why he would do that, she plan on pressing chargers on the baby sitter and the man for doing that to her son and she says "I don’t think I ever want to leave my child with a sitter again”. I think this was wrong why would he do that I know it was just for fun but come on the child could have died or got injured really bad, I mean and for that baby sitter to just sit there and let him do that that’s wrong because the mother didn’t even know the man. I recommend that people shouldn’t just leave they child with just anybody they should be experienced and someone you know.

The article 'Tony Hawk" is about an man when he was younger he always went ahead of things in doing his work and he loved skating as a hobby , but his teacher told him that skating And going ahead of things get him nowhere.As he got older he continued going ahead of things and skating and it made him a professional skater . he proved his teacher wrong and he tought other people dont let no one tell you what you not going to get you nowhere because anything is possible just keep trying and follow your dream. " You Might Not Make it to the top, but if you are doing what you love, there is much more happiness there than being rich or famous" says Tony Hawk which it which is true just because you doing something you love it dont matter if you get paid or not just do what you love and get better and better at it.I think the teacher was wrong for saying that because i pretty sure he had an hobby when he was older and it didnt get him famous but im sure that he enjoyed doing what he loved and he got the best out of it.

More and more people are carrying guns so they made new pants so that doesnt make any sense people are trying to stop the violence and they are making things where its easy for men and boys to carry them which is not right.I think that they should sell these pants and cloths because its just not right these clothings is helping the bad people carry weapons and stuff and this is how people get killed and hurt.And also the cops is not going to be able to notice guns when people have them which causes more and more people to purchase and carry weapons.

The purpose of doing this was to scare her so she wont go back to school and get her education.But her parents still forced her to go so she could get her education and learn.In this Story they said she had to go to school even if it meant she could be killed.I think that this is really crazy and wrong and if my parents told me that i would never go to school and i would very upset and scared. These girls has alot of courage and alot of will to learn.Most of the girls that went to school dropped out because they didnt want to lose their lives. To stop this viscious act the government promised police and foot bridge across a near by road and a bus to take them to school.I think that this is an good idea but they shouldnt have to do all of this justso a girl could get an education i think that the people thats doing this to them girls are wrong , selfish , and foul .

No Phones Safer Roads

Texting and on the phone while driving is now the new topic of discussion. This become a big serious thing because people are getting into accidents and are dieing because of texting or on the phone while driving. In a survey of 6,000 drivers 40 percent said they consider it safe to talk on the  phone while driving. Twelve percent saw that its not safe while talking on the phone while driving. Acoording to the article, “The NTSB made the suggestion after looking at research. The research showed that driving while talking on any kind of cell phone is distracting and dangerous. Studies found that drivers were four times more likely to have a crash if talking on a cell phone.”I think that its not safe to talk on the phone while driving because you loose focus on the road , especially when you are having an argument with someone on the phone.On the other hand texting while driving is worst then talking on the phone while driving , because when you are texting while driving you would have to look on the phone to see what you are writing ;Which could cause you to run red lights , not pay attention to stop signs , and not pay attention to the cars in front of you. To some people they think its no harm because they are very good trained drivers but you never no what could happen ;It could always be a drunk reckless driver. Police are now pulling over people that’s on there phone and giving tickets , so there could be less accidents because of texting and on the phone while driving.

Trayvon Martin Story - Zimmerman locked up or not !

Trayvon Martin is a 17-year-old boy that lives in Florida; he was recently killed last month. According to the perpetrator (George Zimmerman) who is the neighborhood street watcher was following Trayvon because he says he looked suspicious. Trayvon's girlfriend says that trayvon was on the phone with her the whole time to the store and back and trayvon said " I think someone is following me " and she told him to run somehow he lost Zimmerman then Zimmerman caught back up to him then trayvon asked the perpetrator why are you following me? But Zimmerman says that Trayvon attacked him by punching he in the face so he shot him for self-defense. Zimmerman however us not locked up because police says they have to do more investigation .I don’t believe Zimmerman story at all I mean even if it was self defense I still believe that he should be locked up, everybody wears hoodies I mean jest because someone have on a hoodie don’t mean they are up to something. Everyone is very mad at this situation because they feel as though if it were a color person shooting somebody for SELF DEFENSE they would be liked up no investagation needed. Everyone is showing support to trayvon and his family by posting videos and pictures on face book, Twitter etc and now wearing hoodies and purchasing an ice tea Arizona and a bag of skittles. I feel very bad and im going to support him to because this unbelievable he was too young for his life to end so short, I think that man need to be locked up for this murder ASAP!!!

Parent abuse 6 year old child

There as been a tragic breaking news March 21, 2012 6 year old Khalil wimes recently died. 6-year-old wimes parents rushed him to Children’s hospital on Monday; they said that he feels out of a tub as he was getting out. Police did more investigation and they found lots of old and new bruises on the little boy. They also weighed him and wimes was only 28 pounds as the doctors weighed him, police thinks that the two parents didn’t feed the 6year old because threes no reason he should only way 20 something pounds. Come to find out the two parents as other children that been taken away from them years ago due to the mother being on drugs, 6year khalil was tooling away from them once before they just received him back 2months before his death. People on their block say they never seem the little boy before outside of the house; they always kept him in the house. I think this story is horrible because I don’t understand how mothers give birth to their child and just not take care of them and abuse them. Yes I think children need discipline but not to the point where children get very bad bruise and have to get rushed to the hospital. The two parents is getting put to jail for a while they didn’t say but I think that they should do 10-12 years because I don’t think that’s right for them to do that to the children its just not right I think since that 6 year old been through allot of trouble then they parents should go through it.

Most Births Outside Of Marriage !

Half of American women give birth without being married. according to the article 59 percent in 2009 are married when they have children , and two-thirds of children in the United States are born to have mothers under 30 . Researchers have consistently found that children born outside marriage face elevated risks of falling into proverty, failing in school or suffering emotional and behavioral promblems. I agree with the researches on that statement because most of times when dads and moms are like separated or not talking its hard for the children to communicate with both parents and some times children would want they parents together , and don’t want to see their parents in anyother relationships . But then again that don’t mean that people have to married to like have a child because some parents are not even together and the dad or mom support and be their for a child . I mean together or not I think every relationship faces promblems . I don’t think a ring will change anything .Also according to the article it says that 73 percent of black children are born outside marriage , compared with 53 percent of latinos and 29 percent of whites , they saying that 73 percent of blacks mostly get pregnant outside of marriages but on the show 16 and pregnant not one persin was married and there is like 70 percent of whites on their and lik 20 percent of blacks.I don’t think this statement is true!

Kony 2012 is a video recorded by invisible children inc. The film is letting the world know that its time for a change its time for everyone to do something about the violence , the killings , and the beatings of adults ,and children Kony is an man thats located  in uganda that is hurting the kids , making the kids young soldiers and making them kill their parents. There are over 1 million children in uganda thats going through this terrible movement. So the people thats apart of invisible children is working on making kony popular so that the whole world know whats going on and the whole world can try to help  by being apart of makng kony popular. They figure since everyone is on facebook and twitter and other social network people should tweet ,  blog ,  or write post about him and his doings. there are also some celbrities thats trying to be apart of this , singer justin beiber tweeted " Stop kony ' which showing his support to the invisible children program.Me my self i think that this is not right whatkony doing to these young kids because like i wouldnt want my children going through what the kids in uganda is going through. And i would support the invisible children because i feel as though they doing the right thing and i think instead of everyone doing things that makes the world worst should try doing things to make te world better.

I think that this will be a good tool, to be able to see hoe much a person has edited their picture.I don’t really have a problem with people using photoshop. My reason is because if people want to make their pictures look better that’s a good way to do it. But I do think some people are using it to much. Like when they edit it so much it looks like a whole different person.

Facebook is using you ?

The article facebook is using you is very interesting to me. Before reading this article, this article I never really cared about the things I posted online. However now I know that the things I post online can be used against me.

    In the article, it says that face book makes their money by selling ad space to companies that want to reach is. Then they choose key words or details that we use in relationship status, location, activities, favorite books or employment. According to the article material found online has been used against people battling for child custody or defending them selves in criminal cases. Internal revenue service searches facebook and myspace for evidence of tax evader’s income. Employers even sometime decide weather to hire people based on their online profiles.70% percent of recruiters ad human reroutes professionals in the united states have rejected people based on data found online.

 I don’t think people should look on people stuff if its not about them or for them I feel as though its disrespectful and invading other people privacy, And I don’t think that people should hire people based on what they say online because people can say allot that don’t mean that they that type of person maybe they meant for job maybe they can do the job. So I think people should mind they business and let people have their space!

But do you know how easy dust is to control? it's called ventilation." she also said "We solved this problem over a century ago." I think that this is an good topic because it let people know how hard it is to work and working could be very dangerous at times. If they solve the problem about the aluminum dusk and how to prevent it i think that they should have followed the instructions by using ventilation. This story shows that working could be unsafe and its also good to do what ever you have to do to not cause any problems . This story interest me because i think that people should support apple more because people died and got injured  by making the products .

She is an messenger from the online and offline world of teenagers. From Dr. Boyd point of view she thinks that parents shouldn't be so over protective with children online . She thinks that children should be able to be online with no problem so they could explore new things . Also she added that "their are less bullying , suicide , you rappings now - a - days then what it was back then . i Agree with her because if children say the right stuff and post the right pictures online none of the things would happen . And i think that students should be able to be online without being hurt or killed . And also online could be helpful for alot of students . But then again i dis-agree because like when students are online like they get carried away and they like get men attention when they post pictures and out of pocket status . And sometimes the kids feed into when the men is messaging them only . On facebook you sometimes have to accept a friend request for someone to look at your page or message you , and if kids see that its someone they dont know then they shouldnt accept the friend request . For men to like do this to children i dont think its right like what goes threw they Mind ? what do they think ? . i think men shoud treat people as if it was they daughter , or son , or mother .

Teenage pregnancy !!

In the united states the teenage pregnancy rate as went up about 750,000 teens get pregnant in the United States each year . Teenagers should be more careful when they are having sexual intercourse because there are alot of teens getting pregnant and not able to take care of they child . Some of the teens even drop out of school because of they pregnancy . Teens should watch out for pregnancy for alot of reasons. One reason is because teens are still young and they cant even take care of there self so what makes them think they could take care another person , another reason is because most teenagers that get pregnant dont have a job which lead them too have no money , and without money you wont be able to feed the baby , buy cloths , shoes ,  pampers for the baby . Another reason why teenagers shouldn't get get pregnant is because when young teen age girls get pregnant it stops them from getting their education and i think everyone needs to get their education , education is very important and without any education you wont know anything and now a days you need education to get a job . Also some children want to follow their parents foot steps and you wouldn't want your child to get pregnant at a young age and drop out . Last and final reason why you shouldnt get pregnant at a young age is because you still young and if you have a baby all the parting days is over you would have to stay in the house and take care of your baby . And most of the times when teenagers get pregnant the father is not always there so you would have to raise the child all by yourself . And when you finally tell the baby father they bail youu out and not want to talk too you nomore or move on . This is why its good to wait to you older , and when you have common sense and have more responsibility .

"Teaching Kids How To Break Up Nicely "

 Teaching kids how to break up nicely is mainly talking how facebook could brake up relationships and the healthy and unhealthy ways to brake up with somebody. The article includes that breaking up with someone on facebook by changing your relationship status so fast it might hurt the other person feelings and like you never know if you and the person might get back together. And also getting into a  relationship on facebook is not a good idea because you don't know the person , well you might not know. Facebook is one of the main reason relationship doesnt last and is ruined because people wirte on your bf/gf wall or like talk about yall relationship . when you brake up with somebody over facebook its not a great idea also , because people would be in your buisness and some couples like air eachother out(tell all they buisness/talk about them).
An healthy way to brake up with somebody is to call - or do it face to face so yall both can understand eachother and yall can do it in s more convenient way .I dont think boys- girls should have a facbook relationship because its no privacy and everybody would be in your buisness. Abd i dont think that anybody should run and change they relationship status and put up a status because you dont have to tell the whole world that your single 5mins later after you brake up thats just not right and people hearts could be broking . and thats just disrespectful for anybody should do that u think you should brake up face to face so everything will be understandable and it wont be no drama / problems after the relationship i over .

Now there's a rumor saying that her and kanye as something going on . I think that kim K. is just getting into all these relationships just for attention like everytime i turn around she always in an relationship with someone new . Now kim stated on one of the episodes of keeping up with the kardashians that she fall in love very easily . Kim and Kris wasnt together for a very long time and then they got married and only been married for 72 days . kim says she got the devorce because kris was to sloppy , and she heard him talking bad about her on an upcoming Tv show .
